#StartupSouth started in 2015 to help connect, educate and attract investment to startups and founders in the South-South and South-East of Nigeria. Africa generally doesn’t have enough support and incentives for Startups but even the few that exist do not move beyond established cities like Lagos and then Abuja.
So Startupsouth was created to engender development in the south-east and south-south regions by encouraging and supporting the founding of high growth businesses especially by young people

We are expecting over Two Thousand people with almost One Thousand registration already. Aside Keynotes, Panels, Fireside Chats and Startup Pitches, there’d be Hackathon and Special After Party at Oguta.
Guests will also have the opportunity to experience some aquatic relaxation and boat cruise on the famous Oguta Lake.
